Computers have made it easier than ever to create one of a kind gifts for family members, friends and coworkers. With the right hardware and software you can create a beautiful keepsake magazine that your friends will cherish for years to come. These keepsake magazines are the perfect choice for wedding showers, baby showers and other special occasions.

Creating your own special keepsake magazine is easy, and it can be a fun project that the whole family can participate in.  If a member of your family is celebrating a birthday you can use your computer to compile cherished photographs into a wonderful gift. You can compile an assortment of wonderful photographs, tracing your favorite family member from birth to the present day.

These keepsake magazines also make wonderful bridal shower and baby shower gifts. You can compile special photographs, along with favorite poems, song verses and other special items, into a one of a kind keepsake the bride and groom or mom to be will enjoy and cherish for years to come.

You can use a number of photo editing products to create your special one of a kind gift. Photo Elements and Photo Deluxe are two of the most popular photo editing software packages on the market, but you can use any photo editing software package that is currently installed on your computer.

To get started simply locate the photographs you want to include in your keepsake magazine. If you are creating bridal shower gifts you may want to include some favorite pictures of the happy couple, as well as pictures of their honeymoon destination.  If you are creating a keepsake magazine for an anniversary gift you could include an assortment of photographs that trace the relationship from its early days to the present moment.

Use your photo editing software package to arrange the photographs and other page elements as you like. You may want to use other special touches, including favorite song lyrics, poems and other unique elements. Lay everything out on the page, then click "File" and "Print Preview" to see how it will look when printed.

Print your pages one at a time and set them aside. Place the pages in the order you wish, then use your binder ring to create a one of a kind keepsake magazine. You can either bind your own magazines at home or take the pages to a local office supply store to have them professionally bound. Once you have your finished magazines you can give them to your family and friends as holiday gifts, birthday gifts, anniversary gifts or just to show how much you care.
